About Me
Meet Catriona,
Catriona is a Reiki Master Practitioner Teacher and Crystal Practitioner based in Milngavie, on the outskirts of Glasgow.
From an early age, she knew she wanted to work in a caring role and so she embarked on a rewarding and fulfilling nursing career for 18 years.
The introduction to Reiki at a holistic event in 2008 began her Reiki journey. After experiencing many sad and challenging times, including several miscarriages, she decided to learn Reiki for herself, for her own healing.
She completed Usui Holy Fire Reiki 1 and 2 in 2015 with her Reiki Master Teacher Lorna McLean. After several years of experience as a Reiki Practitioner, she became a Reiki Master Teacher in 2019. Her connection to Reiki has undoubtedly deepened her appreciation for the blessings in this life and she is forever thankful; not only for the love and comfort that this healing energy has provided her, but for the opportunity to be in another caring and rewarding role. Her passion is sharing this healing modality, fostering a community where individuals can heal and evolve within a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
Catriona has recently published her first book: a memoir called From Grief to Gratitude. Its an honest and moving memoir, sharing her experiences and personal insights learnt throughout her life. How she dealt with loss, depression and anxiety and how Reiki (amongst other therapies and tools) transformed her life, bringing peace, gratitude and personal fulfilment.
Catriona will become a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher in 2025, she is excited to deepen her own meditation practice and grow her business, Nurturing Holistics.

Usui/Holy Fire® lll Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese complimentary therapy, founded by Mikao Usui. Reiki can be translated as Universal Life Force. If energy is blocked or weakened due to illness, stress, even subconscious influences, it can leave you feeling physically and emotionally depleted. Stimulating the flow of energy can bring about subtle and powerful shifts, boosting the body’s natural healing abilities. This can result in positive changes and bring balance and harmony to the mind, body and spirit.
